Every year The Imperial Court chooses one or more beneficiaries for our gala event. This Spring, the 34th Annual Night of a Thousand Gowns will benefit the Hetrick-Martin Institute and the Hudson Pride Center.
The Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI), is the nation’s oldest and largest LGBTQ+ youth serving organization. HMI provides programming and services for more than 2,000 LGBTQ+ young people, ages 13-24, every year throughout the New York Metropolitan area. Services include emergency and basic needs, health services, arts & culture programs, and job readiness training. In 2019, HMI celebrated its 40th anniversary, recognizing and celebrating its four decades of work, and the impact it’s had in the lives of LGBTQ+ youth.
