We are proud to support PFLAG NYC, the founding chapter of the nation’s leading family-based organization dedicated to celebrating LGBTQ+ young people and creating a brighter future for all. Since its founding in 1973, inspired by Jeanne Manford’s historic 1972 march, PFLAG NYC has grown into a national movement with over 550,000 members and supporters across more than 350 chapters.

Each year, PFLAG NYC serves over 1,000 people through a variety of free support groups for LGBTQ+ people, parents, family members, and friends. All meetings are facilitated by trained volunteers and take place virtually via Zoom, creating a safe, welcoming space to share, learn, receive support, and build community.

In addition, PFLAG NYC offers one-on-one support to help parents and families navigate the challenges of coming out. Reach out, and a member of their team will connect with you to discuss your questions, provide guidance, and offer information and answers. All conversations and information shared are kept completely confidential. You can contact their Helpline in the way that works best for you:

  • Phone: Call or text the Helpline at (212) 463-0629. Leave your name and number, and a support team member will reach out to you.
  • Email: Send a message to help@pflagnyc.org, and the support team will get back to you.

Beyond family support, PFLAG NYC works tirelessly to make schools safer and more inclusive, deliver community education programs, and advocate for inclusive policies and legislation at the city, state, and national level. Their holistic approach ensures LGBTQ+ people can grow up in loving families, thrive in safe schools, and live in communities that embrace diversity.

We are honored to partner with PFLAG NYC and support their mission of love, acceptance, and equality. By supporting them, we help strengthen families, empower LGBTQ+ youth, and make a lasting impact on communities throughout New York City and beyond.
